The drought and the resulting water restrictions have affected homeowners’ lawns throughout the Cape Fear region.
 
 
 
Pending state approval, workers will begin to tear down the Seascape Motel on Monday.
On Jan. 23, a sinking 1979, 33-foot Pacemaker Sport Fisherman was spotted by a patrol from the U.S. Coast Guard Station Wrightsville Beach.
