A key factor for success and longevity in training is setting realistic goals.
One question to ask yourself first is why you began training in the first place.
Maybe you want to feel healthier, move easier, look leaner, get stronger etcetera.
Whatever your personal choice is, in order to act in alignment to the best of your ability you’ll have to be specific in how you pursue your goal. What that will mean for most people is giving yourself time, don’t rush the process.
The results will come, but not as fast as many might hope. The ones that get the results, though, are the ones who continue forward no matter what, simply because their intention is stronger than any obstacle they may encounter. And most importantly, they don’t expect the results to occur instantly, or for it to always be easy.
So just take one day at a time and be patient, stay focused and enjoy the process.
