John “Jack” K. Davis, Jr., 67, of Wilmington, passed away Oct. 28.
He was preceded in death by his parents John K. Davis Sr. and Ruth Davis and his faithful canine companions Junior and Sunny.
Jack owned Cape Fear Real Estate Directory. He shared his love for Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach and particularly Airlie Gardens through his scenic photography. Davis photographed the beauty of this area like few had ever done before, or will again. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a great friend to all that knew him.
Davis is survived by his sisters, Sister Jane M. Davis, of Melbourne, Fla., Marcia Davis Padgett of Leesburg, Fla., Marjorie Davis Latta of Black Mountain, N.C.; five nephews, four great-nephews; two great-nieces; and Karen Zyp of Wilmington, who was like a daughter to him.
A private celebration of his life for family, friends and business associates was held Nov. 3, at Airlie Gardens.
