A collision between an automobile and a motorcycle caused traffic to back up significantly on Tuesday evening around 6 p.m.
Wrightsville Beach Police Chief Dan House said the man driving the automobile, David Broome, was charged with driving while intoxicated, and that the motorcyclist, John Christopher, sustained undisclosed, non life-threatening injuries and was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
