The regularly metered on-street and paid lot parking in the town of Wrightsville Beach will be free beginning Nov. 1 until Feb. 28, 2013. On March 1, the meters will be in service again.
Daylight Savings Time will end at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4. Clocks should be set back one hour earlier beginning at that time. The only states or territories in the United States that do not observe DST are Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and the United States Virgin Islands.
